Cathi Colas is a professional Audiobook Narrator, Coach, and Author. Born in Flushing, Queens, N.Y. (like “The Nanny”) raised on Long Island, and spent time at Ft. Meade, Maryland and Okinawa, Japan. She has a myriad of life experience to pull from for creating rich, textured, authentic characters.

​Cathi has a Bachelors Degree in Communications (main job of a narrator IS communicating) and a minor in Psychology (great for character analysis).

​

Her mid-to-low range, richly textured voice makes her a shoo-in for Mysteries (especially Cozy and Noir), Thriller, Suspense, and Horror. She also loves Classics, Lit-Fic, and Comedy.

She has helped many new authors navigate the wilds of ACX. She likes to work in partnership and collaboration with the authors that hire her and many of the authors she works with are return visitors.

Cathi is an Audiobook Narration and Home Studio Advisory Coach for Suchavoice VO Training. She LOVES to teach. The most exciting thing about teaching, whether it’s narration or yoga or home studio setup, is the ability to change someone’s life.  She created High Horse Press, a Public Domain publishing company, so her students could break into the narration biz in a low-stress environment and get a first book on their portfolio.

Her voice-over credits include the 2021 NFL on Fox-NFC Wild Card Pre-game Intro, video games like *Empire of Sin* and *The Amazing American Circus*, political advertisements, and documentaries.​
